How beats your internal life?
Can you feel the pulse of your inner landscape?
Or is your inward hum drowned out
by the loud noise of the external hustle.
So much Beauty lies in stillness,
There is a lush garden inside us all.

This soon-to-be Solstice Sun has been simmering underneath my skin. Reminding me, that like the Moon, cycles wax and wane. After the dip into the Darkness, there is always the elevation into the Light.
Although on different timelines, frequencies and planes, we all have our own cycles. To be able to listen deeply and tune into them, is to truly know oneself.
After what has felt like forever in the Dark, my own cycle is moving me into the Light. I’ve finally made available once again some of my past mini zines as well as my newest illustrated mini zine “Scattered Teeth Like Breadcrumbs”. You can find them in my Perilsoftheliving Etsy shop.
Many Solstice Blessings!
May the Light shine brightly in your Heart,
through all your cycles and seasons.
And so, having lost my way within the deep darkness of the questions, I turned around to face the way back and followed my scattered teeth like breadcrumbs. Hoping to return to the beginning.
Working on my newest zine. Taking the storytellers’ path: Turning symbols into stories and stories into myth.
Magic, Alchemy, and Solace in the Green Path.
When the World’s cries pierce the Heart. Prayers and Actions are desperately needed. As well as fortitude found in what cradles the Soul. I find healing in Art and a close contact to what animates everything around me.
Grace moves through it all.
“What is this life flowing in our bodies like fire? What is it? Life is like a hot iron. Ready to pour. Choose the mold and life will burn it.” ~ Mahabharata

Ajna Chakra meditation:
Outer eyes closed.
Floating in darkness
Held by emptiness
Settle in the eternal void
Find yourself deep within.
Know the unknowable.
It is seen
With your other eyes.
This past Moon cycle has spoken to me about the importance of grounding and rooting ourselves. Through the Chaos of this unpredictable human experience we can pause and befriend any moment. Belonging to the present and inhabiting ourselves fully. Rumi’s words are close to my heart: “So come, return to the root of the root of your own self.”
This mindful art form of carving my own stamps has been a great way of slowing things down and really bringing my focus on what I’m doing in the moment. I’ve received some interest from others to purchase my hand carved stamp prints and so I’ve created an etsy listing for those interested. This first pack contains prints of my Flower of Life, Kali Ma, and Hand Eye stamps.
As the summer begins to wane, I’m taking this time to slow down and listen with my other eyes and ears.
“Listen to the hidden sounds
Use your other ears.
See the celestial sights
Use your other eyes.
Perceive what cannot be measured by the ordinary senses.”
~ Alberto Villoldo
