New Year Paper Prayer

Open space
becoming sanctuaries
cyclical return
new birth
New Year‬.

Many blessings to all as we embark upon a new year with new adventures and lessons. I don’t really do resolutions or yearly words, however I do feel the New Year mojo and set intentions for myself and my work for the year ahead. I’m beginning 2015 with a new Found Poetry Project: Paper Prayers.

The words will make themselves known…

Embracing Light & Darkness

solstice candle

A candle lit in honor of the dance between light & darkness:

“I will love the light for it shows me the way;
yet i will love the darkness for it shows me the stars.”
~ Og Mandino

Happy Winter Solstice and New Moon beginning!

Embracing the gifts of this dark season, and sowing the seeds which will soon see the light of this brand new cycle.

“Because there are real gifts in darkness- deep rest, new dreaming, a sharpening of other senses that allow us to feel the present moment shape of our inner landscape. A seed left sitting on the table in a well lit room remains a seed. But a seed placed into the dark moist earth splits open and pushes new life up toward the light. What kind of seeds might you be in your life and our shared world?” ~ Oriah Mountain Dreamer

Saying Yes

10428073_10152855866737457_4606824673355109422_n

I feel so honored to be inluded in this anthology of writings about YES.

What do I say yes to? I say yes to my own rhythm, embracing my own flow and unfolding. I have found that if I honor my own stride, then everything else seems to fall into place.

{Pace is Grace}

The Yes Book can be purchased over on Amazon.com.
